DOOR SUPERVISION |
Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme | |
|
Sword holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Door Supervision Services. The SIA exists to manage the licensing of the private security industry as set out in the Private Security Industry Act 2001 which established a system of inspection for providers of security services. The objective of the SIA's Approved Contractor scheme is to raise performance standards and to assist the private security industry in developing new opportunities. The ACS standard encompasses all aspects of a security providers operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and an approved organisation must demonstrate to an independent assessor, or on an annual basis, that it has met defined standards.
